Japan's superstar singer-songwriter Utada hikaru is planing on releasing a double A-side single "Beautiful World/ Kiss & Cry"

“Beautiful World” is the theme song to the upcoming “EVANGELION Shin Geikjouban: Jo” film which will be released in theaters on September 1st, 2007. Additionally, “Fly Me To The Moon (In Other Words) -2007 MIX-” will be used in the EVANGELION trailer which will begin airing starting on June 30th. The original “Fly Me To The Moon (In Other Words),” off of the 2000 single “Wait & See ~risk~,” was used as the ending theme to the televised version of EVANGELION back in 2000.

The single also contains “Kiss & Cry,” the current theme song for Nissin Cup Noodle’s FREEDOM Campaign.

"Beautiful World" is described as an "uptempo but sad song" and said to match the Evangelion film very much.
