How To Play Downloaded PS2 Games?

guys,am downloading a playstation 2 game (god of war 2)
i need a heads up on how to burn it on the DVD to make sure it plays on the console,anyhelp?

I never done it really, but after looking it up, I guess its easy.

1. You have to have be able to boot backups using swap magic or a modchip.
2. Open WinRAR
3. Browse to the folder the game is in
4. Highlight the 1st numbered file with a single click
5. Click 'Extract To..'
6. Choose an extraction location, or just click OK
7. Sit back, and wait for the iso to be extracted.
8. Burn ISO file using Nero / Alcohol 120% to a blank DVD of good quality

edit: actually, I'll have to take back my words, its not that easy. Most of the latest discussions on the ps2 forum @ afterdawn.com are about this game.

what i also found that i have to burn it on a 8X Media DVD-R and i should set the Burner on 2X - 2.4X max.
its only 379 MB yet on torrent,lets see when its gonna finish all the 3.69 GB!

I have almost the same issue, but instead of Ps2, i wana know about Nintendo Wii. im downloading from TorrentLeech.org, am am not really sure how it all works. TIA

Hello there,

Downloading any game without purchasing them or owning them, is illegal.With your stock PS2, you won't be able to play burnt games unless you mod it via fliptop or chip.
