The 20-year-old gave his own name, instead of the one in the passport, the Lower Criminal Court heard.
He admitted a charge of travelling on a forged passport and the case was adjourned until August 28, for sentencing.
The defendant told police how he travelled to Singapore from Lahore, Pakistan, on July 10, using his own passport, after a friend at home told him he could buy a fake passport in Malaysia, to get into Europe.
From Singapore, he travelled to Malaysia, where he met an agent who gave him Malaysian passport, on the understanding that he would pay 1.2 million Pakistani rupees (BD7,489.600) upon reaching his final destination, which was Spain.
The defendant said he knew people in Spain who were prepared to pay the price of the forged passport for him.
He used the Malaysian passport and arrived in Bahrain, from where he intended to travel to Dubai, to get a plane to Spain.
