Im sure a lot of people who are into animes must've heard about this one or should of but its a fairly new anime only 40 something episodes currently aired. i think its famous to people who are into Japanese media and movies , because it spawned 2 live action movies both of which became hits.

the Anime is about 2 girls whom have met on a train coincidently which have the first same name --> NANA. but it develops into a more serious themed anime about life and circumstances. not only that but its very funny and enjoyable.

although the manga was aimed for girls. a lot of boys watch this style of anime frankly cuz animes like Dragon ball z and the likes get boring and repetitive. and cmon who doesnt like a realistic anime?.

I recommend this anime to all the people who are new to watching Animes and are used to shows, cause its basically the same thing (drama ) but animated.

i rate this anime as : A+. one of the best I've seen and its so addicting. so clear up some time as it currently has 42 episodes with english subs which can be found at youtube and other places like Veoh.com , Crunchyroll.com
