Welcome to the RCSI-Medical University of Bahrain International Scholarship application.
Applications are invited for the 2007/8 scholarship to study medicine in the Medical University of Bahrain. The scholarship provides full remission of tuition fees and an annual allowance.
Candidates will be short-listed on the basis of very high academic grades (achieved or predicated); a confidential statement from your school Principal; and submission of a personal statement. The statement of 500 words (maximum) may address the following, but need not be confined to: the challenge of Medicine as a career, your extracurricular achievements, and why you think you are deserving of this prestigious award.
Please apply by completing and submitting all the necessary documentation as detailed below. Completed applications must be submitted and completed by the 30th May 2007 deadline. Short-listed candidates will be invited to attend an interview in MUB. The decision of the university will be final and not subject to appeal.
Unsuccessful candidates should be aware that their submission for this scholarship does not constitute an application for the Medical School.
